Oil and Water Resistant Polypropylene (BOPP) Substrates
White BOPP
Most commonly used material and is suitable for most applications with a permanent adhesive. Impervious to water and oils, and is particularly suitable for bath and body products, as well as food and beverage products.
Clear BOPP
Same water-resistant qualities as the White BOPP. Clear BOPP Labels provide more of a “no label” look.
Chrome BOPP
Same water and oil-resistant properties as our White BOPP and Clear BOPP, but has the “mirror-like” look of shiny chrome.
Gold BOPP
Same water and oil-resistant properties as our White BOPP and Clear BOPP, but has an elegant look of shiny, reflective gold.
Eco Friendly Substrates
NEW Recycled Hemp
50% hemp and 50% post-consumer waste. Smooth surface and organic look with high wet strength properties to increase performance in moist environments. Hemp material should not be laminated.
Kraft 100% Recycled
Not suitable for lamination. Not oil and water resistant.
Biostone
Made from stone. Not suitable for lamination. Oil and water resistant.
Vellum Recycled
100% recycled with 100% post-consumer waste material. Cannot be laminated. Not oil and water resistant.
Weather Proof Substrates
Squeezable Label Material
White, 3mm film best for squeezable applications.
White Flexible Vinyl Labels
Vinyl labels are the most substantial material. The vinyl is thicker than BOPP, and is most suitable for outdoor applications where greater strength and durability is needed, or where lengthy exposure to the elements is an issue.
Paper Stock Substrates
Cast Gloss Labels
Specially designed for the wine industry. It is paper-based with a high-gloss white finish.
Classic Crest Labels
White paper stock with a dull matte finish. Not suitable for lamination. Not water-resistant.
Estate #9 Paper Labels
Design for gourmet foods or applications where a textured finish is desired. Its light cream color and textured feel. It features a special adhesive and a stronger liner. Not water-resistant or as durable as BOPP. Not suitable for lamination.
Satin Cloth Labels
Woven satin acetate cloth material.
Removable Substrates
Window Decal
Clear and Ultra-Removable. The face stock is clear with excellent clarity. The adhesive is an ultra-removable featuring excellent weatherability and UV resistance. It removes cleanly from a wide variety of substrates without staining.
Removable White BOPP Labels
Same as our standard BOPP, but has a special, “less aggressive” adhesive designed to allow the label to be removed or re-positioned after application. Depending on the surface it will be applied to, customer testing is strongly recommended.
Laminates
High Gloss
High gloss is our most popular laminate. It is the least expensive option and provides protection for the label and a high gloss shiny finish.
Matte
The Matte Laminate provides your label with a dull, non-glossy finish. Some customers consider this achieves a more "natural" look.
Holographic Foils
Holographic patterned laminates and foil layers give the most reflective properties.
UV Outdoor Gloss
High gloss finish with excellent UV resistance. It is best paired with our vinyl material for the most durable outdoor label.
